Adam Burwood
Teaching Professional
Growing up in Essex, Adam had a successful county career captaining the under 18 and under 21 teams which included winning the English county finals.
After completing the PGA degree in 2012 Adam has gained a wealth of experience coaching around the world. Senior teaching professional roles in Saudi Arabia, Dubai and New Zealand have seen Adam working with a diverse range of players from complete beginners to elite amateurs and mini tour players.
Further education in Trackman and TPI gives Adam a well-rounded approach to improving both adult golfers and developing young players.
Adam believes that structured training in a team environment is an essential part of coaching and the development of a player. Practice sessions that emulate what a player does on the golf course is key to overall improvement.
Outside of coaching Adam still enjoys playing competitive golf. In 2019 he won the UAE PGA championship and Order of Merit titles.
Adam joins us from Foxhills Golf resort in Surrey, England where he spent 5-years running the academy programs.
